Photo a day. Day 27: Nina, the littlest Matroyska

So Kristen knitted these dolls up for my mom for Christmas last year and this year when we went over to her house we read a story of "The Littlest Matroyska" where there were 6 of these nesting dolls (One inside another) sitting in a toy shop and the littlest one fell off the shelf and rolled out the door and was lost... this little girl buys the rest of the set for half off but all the 5 other dolls miss their little sister... eventually the littlest one, Nina, finds her way to the home and they are re-united and it feels so good... Sweet story... SO THEN... while we were at my moms, she brought out the dolls that kristen knitted and asked if we can add something to the biggest one... so we brought home the big one and the little one in a bag... when we got home Kristen opened the bag and there was the big one only... so she thogutgh she left the little one at my moms... oh well, we'll go back there later... next morning I came outside and saw the littlest one on the driveway, frozen from morning dew and sitting there on the ground cold and alone.. "OH NO!! Nina!!!!" so I grabbed her up and put her next to the heater to warm her up... and now this one has a name... Nina, the littlest matroyska!

BAM!! started up without a problem...AWESOME!!! Cars fixed.... backed out... on my way towards the light by Chipotle and it shuts down on me... SON OF A BITCH!!!!!! The school had a showing of 'The Polar Express' last night where everyone came in their pajamas and watched it on the big screen. It was fun... during the hot chocolate part of the movie (Where they serve it on the train) all the PTA staff came out of the kitchen with hot chocolate for everyone in the audience... when the kid finds the bell, they came around and passed out a bell to everyone who still believes... and when santa appeared on screen, he came out with candy canes for all. It was a good time!

Photo a day. Day 14: Share the road

So Ive been biking to work all week. I like it. Its nice. it takes the same amount of time as driving cause I dont have to wait at lights and stuff plus I get some fresh air in my lungs early in the day... Im sure im doing it wrong... the bike lanes are one way, right? So im riding in the opposite direction in the bike lane cause the way to work is all lefts and I dont want to wait in the turning lane 4 times.... why not go right? its too far that way and goes down into a canyon... coming out of that canyon is a little harder and I dont feel the need to sweat right before seeing a client.

So she decided to read to us as a class as if she was the teacher...reading a page, showing the picture... next page, next picture. I was told to sit down and be quiet or my 'behavior clip' would be moved from green down to yellow. I kept it on green the whole time!

Im married to a beautiful woman named Kristen and have three great, smart, beautiful, caring, loving daughters. Kristen did a photo a day last year in december... I want to do it this year. Why not? Volume... whether its soft or hard, keep the volume cranked so that you can hear it all. Take Care! Jesse
